Since Tuesday I've been getting the follow error intermittently:
(10061) WSAECONNREFUSED, Connection refused.

I thought it was my work connection, but I'm getting reports from others.

What error (if any) are you getting? Try to post times, too. I'll put in a support ticket tonight (for some reason my webfilter here thinks Dream host is a poh-nograffy site.)

Yesterday around 3:15pm to 5pm EST, I was unable to connect to any of the Dramatis domain sites, nor resolve to the Dramatis SMTP server. The issue seemed to resolve itself later that night. Over the past week or so though, it has been unusually slow. I had just updated my browser though, so discounted it, seems worth putting down now.

Full error below.
-----------------------------
The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I'll edit this if I get error messages again this evening, but I too have been having problems in the afternoon and with a similar message as Silver recieved. I assumed it work related too, so hadn't mentioned it.

If it helps, I've not been getting any error messages at all. The page just keeps perpetually loading until I either manually stop it or close the browser.

If you guys could cut and paste the exact message, that'd be great. The part with the Error Number blah blah blah is the important part. So far Silver's getting a different error than I am, but he's using a different browser. I'd like to know if that's why, or if the error is being received differently depending on carrier, or what.

I've tried it on both browsers thinking it may have been an issue with firefox, but on Ie the only error I get is the standard cannot find page error, or on occasion I'll just get stuck perma loading like freeze. That seems to happen most often right after it goes down than after an hr or so I start getting the cannot find page/site temporarily unavailable message.

Begining when I returned from lunch, around 12:16 7/20, I have begun to experience the slow downs that have lead up to an out right "cannot connect" situations. Alanna, I'll shoot you an e-mail if/when I can't actually get to the boards.

Okay, just remember I can't get my email here, so I won't see it or be able to reply until later.

I haven't been getting any error messages, but I have noticed the site going really slowly over the past week or so. I'll click a link and the little loading animation will start up but nothing will happen. I usually end up going to look at something in another window for a while and come back and it's still trying to load.

Could not connect briefly at 4:49 pm and sent you an e-mail regarding it. However, as of 5:20 I'm fine.

Normally around 8pm GMT I can't access the site at all. Web browser just times out - no error message.

Late afternoon EST does seem to be the problem time.

It seems to me that the entire server just likes to crash at around that time.
And being as there's nothing for the browsers to really access is why we're not getting error messages for the most part? *shrugs*

For what it is worth, I occasionally have trouble looking in on Tai Shan (http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/GiantPandas/default.cfm) at about the same time. In fact, got the same message an hour or so before I did at DP yesterday. Could it just be some sort hub wide slow down as everyone starts getting home from work and logging on the Web on the East Coast?
