With the profusion of Paced events and the variety that has resulted, is it possible to have the ability to put in half hour increments added to the start and end times?

Alanna,

Have you ever thought about setting up RSS feeds for the forums? Is it a viable possibility?

If possible, I always try use RSS for any website that I visit regularly.

This could also be good for moderators as they can get quick updates to any forum they moderate.

The search function looks like it would be really useful, the problem is most of the key words I want to use get excluded because they're used too much on the forums. I was just trying to search for the Dwarf Month posts, but both "Dwarf" and "month" are too common and get excluded. I understand excluding things like "the" and "Blizzard" or something like that, but every time I've tried to use the Search function to find something, every I search for is excluded. (I ran into this search for Forsaken, as well.)

There is a way to adjust the search function to be more inclusive. The only trouble (as I understand it) is that it creates a much larger search index, which could lead to more frequent crashing if too many people are using it at once.

But if we've gotten to the point where words like "dwarf" and "FlagRSP" are too common to search for, we may have to bite the bullet and broaden the index. I'll bring it up with the Producers.

I have a suggestion.

Could a system be made to get server/faction info included in event announcements' titles? Something brief and easy to understand like:

CCa for Cenarion Circle Alliance
ADh for Argent Dawn Horde

etc.

I often don't have the time to read the threads when I 'View New Posts', I just want to see whats posted. It would be nice to see what is going on that is relevant to the places I have characters.

I think that the Events and Pacer folder should be split up. Some of those pacer threads have gotten gihugic, and it can be difficult to find information at times. Give each active pacer their own folder and give the pacer leader/s moderatorial privileges for their folder. In order to keep the number of folders down, require a certain period of activity before handing out folders and if a period of time passes with no activity, move it to an inactive pacer section for archival purposes for when/if it ever reactivates.

I think there was something else I wanted to say, but I've forgotten. Hurray!

I'll second Jester's suggestion perhaps with the added ability to sticky posts in your event/pacer folder?

My brain says that that is probably impossible but just thought I'd throw it out there.
