Who would be interested in a Goblin short-term pacer?

Starting area + Azshara, with an aim to conclude at 20th when the characters can ride off in all directions on their shiny new mounts. This will also include a chance for us to get to wander around Ogrimar after its urban renewal effort, which includes cooking quests (for prickly pear cactus "This fruit bites back") and new low level fishing quests in the Goblin slums and freshly flooded Durotar.

Saturday is by far the best day for me, and I can be there any time. Other days, my Pacific Coast location and potential work, work keeps me away until way late for east coast DPers.

I am also available alternate Sundays.

Shadow Council is by far the best server for me, though I could create characters on Wormrest Accord if there are War Stories alumni who'd like more Horde action.

I'd be up for this, and Saturdays are good for me (depending on the time).

Wyrmrest Accord does suit me as I already have an ex-War Stories character there, but I'd be just as happy on Shadow Council - whatever suits, really.

I'd love to be involved in this. Saturday's are good for me, and if I had to pick I'd vote Wyrmrest but either server is also fine. Any thoughts on a concept?

I have the least reliable schedule so PLEASE do not plan around me.

I will be creating Goblins with my son.

It will be on Shadow Council Horde where we play our Hordies and have all of our Horde faction resources.

Little Wolf (several years too young to be a DP member) is willing to come to Wyrmcrest Accord. I really doubt I would make it over there.

Peace,
Wolf

Shadow Council is fine with me. I might make a lock. When are we thinking about starting?

Experience has been that starting things during the holiday(s) season is an opportunity to frustration. Exhibit A, my semi-vanishment since Thanksgiving digestive torpor.

So, -- like the Worgen pacer, I think that January makes sense.

To be continued.

After speaking with Lyndon in game last night, and the benefits of both servers to DP, I rolled a Goblin Rogue on Wyrmcrest Accord. Coswel. I may re-roll him as a different class later but have enjoyed the starting quests.

When you guys get all this hammered out, edit the first post with all the info (server, day, time, etc.) so I can add it to the Call Sheet.

Sure -- some hammering to do (my schedule is more up in the air than I expected, which presents some challenges).

A goblin pacer is so full of win. :rubbing greedy green paws:

Wyrmrest is perfect for me, as I have been on there almost exclusively. I will roll a Goblin there and eagerly await the profiteering.

Got my WA Goblin made: Name is Figet, a nervous, greedy little rogue who loves the glitter of gold.
(pronounced FIJ it). Ready for whenever the pacer is and holding at level 1

Delighted with the name Figit.

Confirming, Wyrmrest Accord is The Place. Time and theme still To Be Determined.

Speculating some on the interaction of Goblin ethics and Horde honor. My roommate says that when Goblins say "Be good!" they mean "Be good enough to not be caught!"

Slight spoiler, there's on Azharra quest where the Goblin quest giver says essentially, "Get me some of that ore. Actually, the ore is terrible, the metal is brittle -- but with the right bribes it will meet Goblin safety standards!"

I love that phrase - "Either be good or good at it" is a variation my rogue uses.

As you're all working on characters and pacer information I'd like to invite you to add them to the Dramatis Personae wiki. Anyone with a Performer rank or higher can login and edit pages. I'm happy to offer help if folks need it (I know it can be intimidating).

Character pages can be created through the Getting Started page. There is also a how-to available here.

Now back to searching out appropriate cola.
